  • Financial Information: Processed securely via our third-party payment partner (Square). We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
  • Caregiving Inquiries: Details regarding care needs for families and professional experience for CareMaker applicants.

3. HIPAA Compliance Statement

We ensure rigorous clinical oversight and data security. Any personal health information (PHI) submitted via our secure portal by families seeking care, or by CareMakers in relation to patient care, is handled strictly in adherence to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Note: This public marketing website does not directly store, process, or display PHI. The "Get Support" intake forms collect minimal necessary contact information bridging to our secure, encrypted HIPAA-compliant Organizational CRM systems.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use your information exclusively to connect you with caregiving services, process donations, evaluate training applications, and communicate regarding our programs. We strictly do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

5. Text Messages (SMS)

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages from CareMakers Collective, for example by ticking the text-message box on our event reservation form or on a pledge card at one of our events, we may text you about our events (invitations, reminders, and day-of details), your gifts (including a secure link to complete a gift you pledged, and thank-you messages), donation requests, and updates on our programs and volunteer opportunities.

  • Agreeing to receive texts is optional and is never a condition of buying a ticket or making a gift.
  • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. We will send one message confirming that you have opted out, and we will not text you again unless you reply START. Reply HELP for help, or email info@caremakers.org.
  • Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
